By using an air gap bonded lens, this collimator can provide better beam quality than aspherical lenses and achromatic lenses in terms of collimation performance. The design of a low aberration lens group can achieve a beam closer to a Gaussian beam, with smaller divergence angles and smaller wavefront errors.
