Description
The BFLD-D1030-50SM-FA is a high-performance 1030 nm Distributed-Feedback (DFB) laser-diode module designed for precision instrumentation and sensing.
Built on a multi-quantum-well ridge waveguide chip, it delivers up to 50 mW of continuous, single-frequency power from a polarization-maintaining HI1060 fiber pigtail.
The 14-pin butterfly package integrates a thermoelectric cooler, thermistor and monitor photodiode, ensuring wavelength stability of 0.01 nm °C⁻¹ and side-mode suppression >45 dB across -40 to +50 °C. With a linewidth below 3 MHz and polarization extinction above 20 dB, the source is ideal for high-resolution spectroscopy, interferometry and seeding of ultrafast amplifiers.
The device is Telcordia GR-468 qualified, epoxy-free and RoHS compliant, offering long-term reliability for laboratory or field deployment.
