Description
Castor Optics’ Wideband Multimode Circulator (WMC) is a three-port device that features a flat spectral response as well as high-efficiency multimode transfer and multimode transmission. It can be used as a circulator or to combine multiple signals within a single multimode fiber. Castor’s all-fiber WMC series offers an efficient, versatile, and robust solution for multimode light management.

Frequently Asked Questions
The WMC can be used as a circulator to circulate multimode light from a source to a sample and back to a detector. It can also be used as a combiner to combine two multimode channels or signals into a single multimode fiber.
The WMC is ideal for applications in diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, and optogenetics.
The WMC has a wavelength range of 400-900 nm for WMC1H1F/S and 400-1600 nm for WMC2L1F/S.
The transfer efficiency from Port 1 to Port 2 is ≥70% for both WMC1H1F/S and WMC2L1F/S.
The WMC can handle a maximum power level of 1 W with connectors or bare fiber.
