Frequently Asked Questions
One control unit can drive 1 to 4 laser units, including CAVILUX Smart, and synchronize 1 to 4 cameras.
The CAVILUX HF UHS System is used for visualization of shock-wave Schlieren imaging, flows, droplets, sprays and jets, materials testing, ballistics, and explosions.
The pulse duration ranges from 50 ns to 10 µs, with a duty cycle of 2% for max 10 s. The repetition rate can go up to a few hundred kilohertz, depending on the pulse duration.
The CAVILUX HF UHS System is used for ultra-high-speed imaging and visualization of hot and bright objects without motion blur or chromatic aberrations.
The laser unit has wavelength options of 640 nm (visible) and 810 nm (invisible) and output power options of 280 W for 640 nm and 500 W for 810 nm.
