Description
BOX Optronics’ DWDM Laser Source is a high-performance, continuous-wave DFB semiconductor laser engineered for precision WDM applications.
Delivering 10 mW of ultra-stable output across the full C-band from 1528.77 nm to 1610.06 nm on the 100 GHz ITU grid, the module exhibits a narrow linewidth (<5 MHz) and excellent side-mode suppression (>30 dB).
Advanced drive and TEC circuits guarantee ≤±0.02 dB short-term and ≤±0.05 dB long-term power stability, while wavelength accuracy is held within ±0.5 nm.
Units are available in compact 150 × 125 × 20 mm module or benchtop 195 × 220 × 120 mm formats, both with FC/APC connectorized SMF-28 or PM1550 fiber. Operating temperature spans −5 °C to +55 °C; power consumption is <15 W from a single 5 V DC supply. A color LCD provides real-time status, enabling easy integration into rack or field systems.
