Spherical Polymer Microlens Array
Description
Microlens arrays are one- or two dimensional periodic patterns of small lens structures (lens dimensions up to a few millimetres). They can be used in a variety of ways, e.g. collimation or homogenization of light, depending on the design. We offer custom designs for our customers without limitations regarding the pattern in a wide range of lens sizes and overall array sizes.
It is also possible to apply a microlens array directly into the plano side of all our polymer optical components (e.g. Fresnel lenses). Our products can be finished with a range of optical coatings and nanostructures and will be trimmed precisely to our customers requirements. We offer microlens arrays in PMMA, Polycarbonate and SOG (silicone-on-glass).

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer sizes up to 370 x 370 mm
The standard material is PMMA. We also offer Polycarbonate and SOG (silicone-on-glass). Each material has its advantages and limitations depending on the intended use.
Depending on the material and dimensions we use compression molding, compression-injection molding and injection molding. SOG optics are manufactured in a casting process.
