This 840nm SLD Broadband Light Source uses advanced superluminescent diode technology to provide high-power broadband optical output, ideal for fiber sensing and precision optical applications. It features an operating wavelength of 840nm±20nm, minimum output power of 20mW, and a -3dB bandwidth of ≥45nm (typical 48nm).

The product offers ultra-wide spectrum, low spectral ripple, flat spectrum, and customizable options to meet different system requirements. In terms of stability, it delivers short-term stability ≤±0.02dB/15min and long-term stability ≤±0.05dB/8 hours, ensuring reliable and consistent output. The module adopts CS780 pigtail fiber with FC/APC connector and no built-in optical isolator. Two package types are available: a compact module (70×90×18mm) powered by 5VDC or 12VDC, and a benchtop type (195×220×120mm) with AC 110~240V power supply.

Both versions support RS485 communication interface (DB9 female), while the benchtop model is equipped with a touch screen for easy operation and status monitoring. It has a wide operating temperature range from -5℃ to +55℃ and operating humidity of 0~70%, suitable for harsh working environments. This SLD light source is mainly applied in fiber optic gyroscopes, medical imaging, and optical coherence tomography (OCT).

With stable performance, compact structure, and flexible configuration, it is an excellent broadband light source for high-precision optical systems.
