Description
Model 1101-XX-QCW-YYYY-MicroTT-EXT is a state-of-the-art high power quasi-CW micro tabletop quantum cascade laser (QCL) system, designed for those who demand precision and reliability in infrared radiation applications. This advanced laser system delivers over 2 watts of average power at a wavelength of 4.6 µm, with other customizable wavelengths available between 3.8 and 12 µm. Engineered for bench top use, the system is passively cooled and virtually vibration-free, providing a stable and consistent performance in a compact form factor.
The laser system is self-contained, requiring only an external 20 VDC power source to operate. Inside, it houses pulse shaping and power conditioning electronics, along with a hermetically sealed package that includes the QCL and optics necessary for collimating the output laser beam. This design ensures minimal maintenance and no need for field adjustments, while guaranteeing stability over extended periods, especially in stable temperature environments.
For added convenience, the system can be equipped with an internal battery option. Using four CR123A batteries, the QCL can run for more than 30 minutes at 2 watts, with longer run times achievable at lower power settings. This feature provides flexibility and portability, making the Model 1101-XX-QCW-YYYY-MicroTT-EXT an excellent choice for various applications where mobility and ease of use are essential.
