Features

  • High Average Power: Delivers over 2 W at 4.6 µm and over 1 W at 4.0 µm. Other wavelengths between 3.8 µm and 12 µm are available.
  • Quasi-CW Operation: High duty cycle pulsed operation, factory-set. Standard output includes 200 ns – 500 ns pulses with a repetition rate of 1 MHz - 2.0 MHz (~50% duty cycle).
  • Optional Configurations: Variable pulse width (20 ns to 200 ns), pulse repetition rate (50 kHz to 2.5 MHz), duty cycle (0.05% to 50%), and pulse amplitude available at extra cost.
  • Compact Design: Miniature butterfly package with ultra-small electronics driver board. Platform size is 4.25” (L) x 1” (W) x 0.5” (H), weighing only 50 g.
  • Beam Quality: Nearly collimated beam with excellent quality. Beam divergence is 3 mrad vertical and horizontal.
  • Hermetically Sealed: QCL package is hermetically sealed for high reliability in all environments.
  • Self-Contained System: Requires only an external DC power source to operate. Includes pulse shaping and power conditioning electronics on the PCB.
  • Stable and Vibration-Free: Passively cooled and virtually vibration-free, designed for long-term stability in stable temperature environments.
