Features

  • Absolute calibration ensured at 15nm RMS, allowing diffraction limited Adaptive Optics.

  • Optimized for 1.55µm but usable from 0.9µm to 1.7µm wavelength with the same accuracy and sensitivity.

  • Not more than 0.2nW needed to reach 4.5 kHz and 15nm RMS repeatability.

  • Camera Link allows reducing the latency down to 500µs.

  • 11×11 microlenses Shack-Hartmann. Deformable mirrors with up to 100 actuators can be driven.

  • Exposure duration can be increased up to seconds to perform active optics on very faint sources.

  • Not sensitive to scintillations thanks to a patented uncorrelated wavefront measurement with intensity variations in the pupil

Applications

Successfully used in the most demanding applications in optical metrology that require high speed for Short Wave Infra Red characterization, Free Space Optics and satellite communication, the HASO SWIR FAST performs multiple functions:

  • Quantify atmospheric turbulence in SWIR

  • Quantify the pointing stability of high frame rate laser

  • Drive a deformable mirror in high frame rate adaptive optics setups

  • HASO SWIR FAST is included in our CIAO SWIR, a stand-alone adaptive optics platform that includes a Piezo DM. The loop is closed at the frequency of 3.5kHz.

  • HASO SWIR FAST has been used to characterize an atmospheric turbulence emulator and get the power spectral density up to the frequency of 2.2kHz on 36 Zernike polynomials.
