ArmD® NIR has a pure synthetic, fused silica glass core, high resistance against laser damage, step-index profile, and very low NA expansion. It is also available with a choice of several jacket types and sizes, as well as custom-designed products and sizes to meet your specifications.
ArmD® NIR has a wavelength/spectral range of 300-2400 nm, a numerical aperture (NA) of 0.22 ± 0.02 or customized, and an operating temperature range of -190 to +350 °C. It is available with a core diameter of 25 to 2000 µm and standard core/cladding ratios of 1:1.04, 1:1.06, 1:1.1, 1:1.15, 1:1.2, 1:1.25, 1:1.4 or customized.
Cleave N Connect™ technology is a feature of the new ArmD® NIR with a hard polymer buffer. It eliminates messy silicone stripping.
