Description
The Ocean QE Pro is a scientific-grade, high-sensitivity spectrometer designed for demanding UV–NIR applications that require both exceptional performance and stability. Anchored by a Hamamatsu S7031-1006 back-thinned CCD detector with ~90% peak quantum efficiency, the QE Pro delivers outstanding sensitivity for low-light measurements. A built-in thermoelectric cooler (TEC) suppresses dark current and stabilizes detector performance, ensuring consistent data quality across a wide range of integration times and environmental conditions.
The QE Pro combines high dynamic range electronics (18-bit A/D conversion) with a robust onboard buffer capable of storing up to 15,000 spectra, preserving data integrity during high-speed acquisition bursts. Multiple configurations are available, including UV–VIS (200–790 nm), VIS–NIR (220–1100 nm), and XR (190–1100 nm), as well as pre-configured models tailored for fluorescence, absorbance (ABS), and Raman applications. Optional internal shutters improve dark correction routines and enhance measurement precision.
Designed with a compact, integration-ready footprint, the QE Pro is well suited for both standalone laboratory use and OEM system embedding. It supports USB 2.0 and RS-232 interfaces for flexible connectivity and includes multiple trigger modes for synchronized spectral acquisition. The spectrometer operates with OceanView spectroscopy software and with support for the OceanDirect™ SDK, providing API access for advanced control, automation, and data analysis.
With its excellent thermal stability, superior sensitivity, and robust configuration options, the QE Pro is an ideal tool for applications such as fluorescence measurements, absorbance analysis, Raman spectroscopy, and low-light emission detection. Whether deployed in the lab or integrated into custom equipment, the QE Pro delivers research-grade performance in a versatile and reliable package.
