Modulator Bias Controller - Tunable
Description
The MBC-TUNABLE Modulator Bias Controller is a compact, high-performance solution for analog systems, designed to control the bias point of modulators. It offers precise tuning to any desired working point of the modulator's operational function, providing flexibility for a wide range of applications.
With a user-friendly GUI, all settings can be remotely controlled via a USB interface, allowing seamless operation in both calibration and locking modes. The MBC-TUNABLE allows for adjustable locking slopes and selectable modes, including Quad+ (Quad-) or Null (Peak) modes. It also features a pilot tone with user-adjustable amplitude and a built-in or optional external photodiode for enhanced measurement accuracy.
The device is housed in a low-profile enclosure (2.53″ x 2.57″ x 0.65″) and supports a wide optical wavelength range of 1000–1650 nm. Ideal for modulator applications in communication and testing systems, this controller ensures optimal modulator performance with precise bias control.
