Modulator Bias Controller for Single Sideband Applications
Description
The MBC-SSB is designed for single sideband applications with DPMZ modulators. It features two operation modes, calibration mode, and locking mode. The controller can control three modulators and has a user-adjustable pilot tone amplitude.
The locking points around null and quad can be fine-tuned and calibration off mode is available for quick system setup. It comes with an integrated PD, USB interface, RS232 interface, and GUI. The low profile of MBC-SSB makes it easy to use and access an external photodetector.
