Description
This tracking and measurement instrument features a highly integrated design using a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer combination scheme. The IS-220 is a compact tubular inertial combination system with a small diameter, short length, and lightweight construction — making it ideal for pipeline positioning and orientation measurement in confined spaces.
As a core component of a tracking measurement system, it leverages a proprietary sensor fusion algorithm to precisely record the carrier’s running trajectory. Results are visualized on an intuitive human–machine interface (HMI) as a detailed 3D trajectory map, allowing users to quickly and easily obtain continuous 3D mapping of deep boreholes or pipelines with minimal setup.
