Description
These lenses have positive focal lengths. They work best when producing real images at near infinite conjugates or where one of the conjugates is virtual. They outperform the equivalent equiconvex lens if the magnification lies in the range: m<-5 or m>-0.2. The optimum orientation for most application is with the curved surface towards the long conjugate.
