Description
The Gentec-EO UP series of laser power detectors include seven families (XLP12, UP12, UP10, UP17, UP19, UP25, UP55) of opto-thermal sensors with different cooling options (stand alone, heat sink, fan and water), with or without amplification.
The high power surface absorber sensors are designed for use at high average power densities. Features
- Low Power Thermopile Design: Offers the sensitivity typical of photodetectors, combined with the broad bandwidth and high capacity of thermal devices, ideal for low power laser applications.
- Minimal Thermal Drift: Features an impressively low thermal drift of only 6 µW/°C with the IR filter, ensuring stable measurements across varying temperatures.
- High Sensitivity: Delivers high sensitivity of 200 mV/W without the IR filter, making it highly responsive to low power levels.
- Optimized for Ultrashort Pulses: The VP (volume absorber) version is specifically tailored for lasers emitting ultrashort pulses, such as picoseconds (ps) and femtoseconds (fs), enhancing its versatility.
- IR Filter Inclusion: Equipped with an IR filter (in the XLPF12 model) to remove unwanted IR interference, thereby improving measurement accuracy.
- Isolation Tube: Incorporates an isolation tube to mitigate power fluctuations caused by air turbulence, ensuring consistent and reliable readings.
- Compatibility: Designed to be compatible with various stands, displays, and PC interfaces, facilitating seamless integration into existing systems.
- Broad Spectral Range: Capable of operating across a wide spectral range from 0.19 to 20 μm, accommodating a diverse array of laser types and applications.
