The Levante Emerald is a state-of-the-art, widely tunable, and fully automated NIR-OPO designed to deliver precision and versatility in laser applications. With a remarkable output wavelength range from 640 nm to 2300 nm, this OPO is engineered to work seamlessly with green pump lasers, accommodating pulse widths from 2 to 20 picoseconds and pump powers ranging from 2 to 20 watts. The high beam quality and pulses close to the transformation limit ensure superior performance, while the robust mechanical design guarantees stable long-term operation and excellent beam stability.
The Levante Emerald offers a fully automated experience, featuring software-controlled tuning facilitated by cutting-edge control electronics and internal diagnostic systems. The intuitive PC control software, equipped with an additional TCP/IP command interface, allows for seamless integration into larger test setups and software-controlled environments. Users can effortlessly achieve wavelength tuning by simply entering the desired wavelength into the Levante OPO control software. An internal high-resolution real-time spectrometer measures the actual wavelength and bandwidth of the OPO Signal, while calibrated photodiodes ensure accurate power readings.
Equipped with a sweep function, the Levante Emerald enables fast tuning over specific wavelength ranges, allowing automatic transitions from initial to final wavelengths in minimal time. The system offers simultaneous availability of Signal and Idler beams, which are collinearly radiated to ensure perfect spatial and temporal overlap at the output. This continuous tunability of the photon energy difference between Signal and Idler makes the Levante Emerald an ideal choice for multi-color excitation experiments, such as SRS (Stimulated Raman Scattering) and CARS (Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering), as well as multi-photon microscopy.
