Description
The OPO-X is a state-of-the-art synchronously pumped Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) designed to extend the wavelength range of modelocked femtosecond (fs) or picosecond (ps) Ti:Sapphire lasers. This advanced system is crafted to cater to the needs of both femtosecond and picosecond Ti:Sa lasers, offering a broad wavelength spectrum from 505 nm to 4000 nm. This makes it an ideal choice for researchers and professionals looking to enhance the capabilities of their Ti:Sa laser systems, such as Mira (HP), Chameleon Ultra II, Vision II, Tsunami, and MaiTai.
The OPO-X provides exceptional flexibility, thanks to its innovative FAN crystal architecture. This allows users to set the OPO wavelength independently of the pump wavelength, supporting any wavelengths between 740 nm and 880 nm for pumping. The system is equipped to handle both femtosecond and picosecond operations, with optical components that can be easily exchanged by the user to switch between modes. Additionally, it offers simultaneous access to infrared (IR) and visible (VIS) outputs, along with the Idler beam, further enhancing its versatility.
With a focus on customization, the OPO-X can be tailored to meet specific requirements, including automated tuning capabilities. The system features an internal high-resolution spectrometer for accurate measurement of the Signal wavelength and bandwidth, as well as calibrated photodiodes for power assessment. Users can effortlessly tune the OPO by entering the desired wavelength into the included Windows-based control software. The system is fully controllable via PC, with built-in diagnostics for monitoring pump wavelength, power, and repetition rate. This ensures a seamless and efficient operation, adapting automatically to changes in the pump wavelength.
