MOT6723GA is a complete and all inclusive laser system. It includes; laser driver, TEC controller, butterfly laser package, and heatsink all in a compact footprint and 2nd to non performance by far. It is designed and manufactured in US to the highest standard. 

MOT6723GA is designed so that it is easily integrated into a laser system product. It can also be used in laboratory environment as a test system. A 14 pin interface connector allows easy connection to a system microcontroller allowing access to all control and monitoring signals of the module.

MOT6723GA incorporates multiple level of protection to safeguard the laser including: 

• Two level of switch on protections, standby and soft-start. The board will go into standby at switch-on. The user has to enable the laser output which has a built in soft-start for stress free laser turn-on.


• Adjustable laser Current:
  The user can set current limit through on-board potentiometers. When laser current reaches the set limit, it keeps the current at that level and does not allow any further increase in laser current.


• Temperature alarm and shut down:
        A laser alarm is activated when laser temperature deviates from the set temperature by ±1.5°C .      This alarm also shuts down the laser current protecting the laser from temperature rise beyond its intended condition.


• An on-board dummy load allows laser current to be set first using this dummy load making sure all parameters are indicating correct functioning of the laser system, before diverting the current to the laser.
         This feature  can be used to safely and easily testing the MOT6723GA board before installing the laser into its ZIF socket.
