The TGG-type 3-port optical circulator by Ascentta, Inc., is a high performance device in a compact package. It enables light travels in one direction, i.e. from port 1 to port 2 and from port 2 to port 3.
It provides low insertion loss, excellent isolation, directivity, and return loss.
Optical circulators are essential for quantum research, communications, integrated optical technology, optical imaging and sensing, optical coherence tomography, and fluorescence.
