Frequently Asked Questions

The PTFL-KULT series is a range of 2µm pulsed fiber laser transmitters, delivering peak power up 15µJ and energy per pulse up to 15µJ in ultra-compact modules with diffraction-limited output beam for range finding applications.

The PTFL-KULT series features 2 µm eye-safe operation, energy per pulse up to 15 µJ, peak power up to 1.5 kW, pulse duration of 10 ns, pulse repetition frequency from 5 kHz to 20 kHz, linear or random polarization, diffraction-limited output beam, low power consumption, wide operating temperature range (-35 °C to +65 °C), and compact and rugged package.

The PTFL-KULT series is ideal for telemetry, range-finding, 3D scanning, mapping, and supercontinuum generation.

The PTFL-KULT series offers one mode of operation: Current Set Point Laser Output Power Pump Current ACC. ACC (Automatic Current Control) mode is standard for all devices. The laser is controlled from diodes current set point.

The all-in-fiber design of the PTFL-KULT series requires no maintenance and allows for easy integration in highly integrated systems.
