Description
The CoroCAM® 8 is a powerful inspection tool that integrates a high-sensitivity solar-blind UV detector with a FLIR® radiometric LWIR thermal camera and a high-resolution visible channel. This three-in-one system enables simultaneous detection of corona discharges, hotspots, and visible details, providing inspectors with unparalleled insight into fault causes in electrical and industrial systems.
Its synchronized zoom functionality ensures that UV, IR, and visible channels remain aligned across all fields of view, while advanced UVc image enhancement tools—including long integration, non-solar-blind mode, noise reduction, and threshold adjustment—maximize detection sensitivity and reduce false signals.
The CoroCAM® 8 supports onboard still image, video, and radiometric data recording, with outputs available via HDMI, USB, composite video, and Ethernet for remote operation. A robust 5.7” LCD and adjustable viewfinder provide flexible viewing options in the field, while ergonomic one-handed operation with quick-access keys simplifies control.
With integrated GPS, metadata logging, and compatibility with CoroBASE® 2.0 analysis software, the CoroCAM® 8 is the ultimate solution for efficient, accurate, and comprehensive corona and thermal inspections.
