Frequently Asked Questions

The HSPC-1000 is used to control and scramble the polarization state of light transmitted through a fiber optic system.

The features of the HSPC-1000 include LCD touch screen operation, integration of electric polarization controller and driver, generation of fixed or random polarization states, user-selectable frequencies up to 1 kHz, user control of polarization state, rugged casing for durability, and quick and easy setup process.

The HSPC-1000 can be used for polarization scrambling, measuring polarization dependent loss (PDL), manufacturing and quality control of fiber optic systems, studying and controlling polarization effects, and research and experimentation with polarization state manipulation.

The HSPC-1000 has four channels.

The standard wavelength range of the HSPC-1000 is 1260-1650 nm, but other wavelengths are available upon request.
