The FGC-GA Geometry System is an all-in-one solution for precision measurements of the geometry of optical fibers, V-groove arrays, and ribbon connectors.

The FGC-GA can completely characterize V-groove block geometry, core-to-core pitch, and core X & Y offset of multifiber arrays up to 15mm in width. It can also measure core and cladding geometry including diameter, non-circularity, and concentricity, as well as MT ferrule measurements and polarization maintaining fibers.

The FGC-GA has a huge 1200µm field of view, as well as an automated lateral scanning stage.

The FGC-GA can measure singlemode, multimode (graded index OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4, and step index), polarisation maintaining, dual-clad, multi-core, and non-circular fibers.

The measurement time for a 3-fiber array with the FGC-GA Geometry System is less than 1 minute (excluding fiber preparation).
