Description
The C+L Band ASE Broadband Light Source from BOX Optronics Tech is an advanced optical module designed for applications in fiber optic sensing and medical imaging. This module utilizes spectral flattening technology to deliver high output power with a stable and flat spectrum across the C+L band (1528–1603 nm).
Key features include power stability, adjustable output power options (10mW, 20mW, 50mW, and 100mW), and a constant spectral flatness of 2.5 dB (typical) and 3 dB (maximum). The light source also offers low power instability, with short-term (15 minutes) and long-term (8 hours) variations kept to ≤±0.02 dB and ≤±0.05 dB, respectively. Additionally, it has a low degree of polarization (≤0.2 dB) and uses FC/APC connectors with SMF-28e fiber.
The module is available in both benchtop and compact module form factors, with dimensions of 260(W)×280(D)×120(H) mm for benchtop and 150(W)×125(D)×20(H) mm for the module. It operates on AC 110–240V (benchtop) or DC 5V (module) power supply and features a DB9 female (RS232) communication interface for remote monitoring and control.
