Description
BOX Optronics 840 nm SLD Broadband Light Source employs a semiconductor super-luminescent diode to deliver a flat, low-ripple spectrum centered at 840 nm ± 20 nm with a 3 dB bandwidth > 30 nm (typ. 47 nm) and output powers of 5 mW or 10 mW, customizable on request.
The rugged benchtop (195 × 220 × 120 mm) or compact 70 × 90 × 18 mm module packages integrate an optional optical isolator and terminate with FC/APC connectors on Hi780 single-mode or PM850 polarization-maintaining fiber.
RS-485 communication and PC software enable real-time monitoring; short-term stability is ≤ ±0.02 dB over 15 min, long-term ≤ ±0.05 dB over 8 h across -5 °C to +55 °C.
Ideal for fiber-optic sensing, OCT medical imaging, and component testing, with full OEM customization of wavelength, power, fiber, and mechanical format.
