Description
BOX Optronics’ BFSLD-XXXX-10SM-FA series is a family of ultra-broadband SLED butterfly laser diodes that deliver high-power, low-coherence light ideal for precision fiber sensing, OCT, fiber-optic gyroscopes and test instrumentation.
Available at 1310 nm, 1450 nm, 1550 nm or 1610 nm, each device produces up to 10 mW CW power into SMF-28e fiber with a 3 dB bandwidth wider than 55 nm and spectral ripple below 0.2 dB, giving excellent spatial resolution and low polarization sensitivity. The industry-standard 14-pin butterfly package integrates a TEC, thermistor and 30 dB optical isolator for wavelength-locked, drift-free operation over 0–70 °C case temperature.
A 1.0 m, 900 µm loose-tube pigtail terminated with FC/APC connectors ensures plug-and-play compatibility, while Telcordia GR-468 qualification and RoHS compliance guarantee 25-year lifetime performance in demanding field and biomedical environments.
