Frequently Asked Questions

The High Power Polarization Maintaining Isolator is used to prevent any reflected light from entering the source, thus preventing any feedback problems. It is most often used in fiber laser systems.

The High Power Polarization Maintaining Isolator is characterized by low insertion loss, high isolation, high power handling, high return loss, excellent environmental stability, and reliability.

The High Power Polarization Maintaining Isolator is ideal for fiber laser and instrumentation applications, including research, EDFAs, Raman amplifiers, and fiber lasers.

PM and non-PM types are available, and the fiber can be customized. Power handling of 5W, 10W, 20W, 30W, 50W can be customized for CW or Pulse power conditions. Requests for custom fiber pigtails, different wavelengths, and handling power of operation or other specific needs will be readily addressed.

Due to ongoing design improvements, the package size is subject to change. Please contact DK Photonics for confirmation if you have special requirements.
