The PAVOS+ 4mm rotator is suitable for eliminating ASE in amplified systems, protecting lasers from back reflection caused by highly reflective materials, and preventing frequency instability in seed lasers and other single frequency lasers.
The PAVOS+ 4mm rotator is completely passive, requires no tuning, and has stable performance up to 80 W. It also has optically contacted PBS cubes for improved damage threshold and input polarization adjustability.
The PAVOS+ 4mm rotator has a clear aperture of 4mm, peak transmission of ≥98%, peak isolation of ≥33 dB, and peak rotation of 45° ± 2.0°. Its damage threshold is 10 J/cm2 at 10 ns, 1 J/cm2 at 8 ps, and 1 MW/cm2 CW. It has a storage temperature range of -20 °C to 60 °C and a factory tunable temperature range of 10 °C to 28 °C.
The PAVOS+ 4mm rotator can be customized with optional waveplates on the output, polarizer and escape port covers, precision mounting, and precision rejected beam pointing.
