Description

The BOX Optronics 1550 nm SOA Optical Amplifier Module is a high-gain, low-noise semiconductor optical amplifier designed for C-band signal boosting in fiber optic networks.

Offering >25 dB small-signal gain across a >100 nm bandwidth, it supports loss compensation in WDM systems, MOPA setups, and 40G/100G links.

The module features low polarization dependence, ≤9 dB noise figure, and saturation output up to 15 dBm.

Available in SMF-28 or PM1550 fiber with FC/APC connectors, it operates on 5V DC (<15W) and fits a compact 150×125×20 mm module, ideal for integration in harsh environments (-5°C to +55°C).
