Description
The OZ Optics Fiber Optic Distributed Strain and Temperature Sensors (DSTS) BOTDR Module is a sophisticated optical sensor system that utilizes Brillouin scattering to measure strain and temperature changes along the entire length of an optical fiber.
With a new BOTDR module based on spontaneous Brillouin scattering, this unit offers single-end measurements and can accurately measure strain and temperature even in the presence of breaks in the fiber. It features fine spatial resolution, a long sensing range of up to 70 km, and high accuracy.
