Description
IRG206 windows are high-performance infrared optical components fabricated from arsenic-selenide chalcogenide glass. This amorphous optical material exhibits an ultra-broad transmission window spanning 0.8 µm to 19 µm, covering the entire SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR atmospheric windows. With a high refractive index of 2.776 @ 10.6 µm and excellent optical homogeneity, IRG206 serves as a cost-effective alternative to crystalline IR materials. Our windows are precision-machined via Single-Point Diamond Turning (SPDT) and finished to stringent optical tolerances, available with custom broadband anti-reflective (BBAR) coatings for 3–5 µm, 8–12 µm, or dual-band operation.
