Frequently Asked Questions

The DVΛ can be used for fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) imaging, polarized FRET analysis, calcium imaging, fluorescence polarization/anisotropy imaging, simultaneous fluorescence/DIC imaging, drug discovery, single-molecule fluorescence (SMF) imaging, pH imaging, multiwavelength total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) imaging, voltage sensing, fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) imaging, and multichannel confocal microscopy.

The DVΛ uses exchangeable filter cubes that can be configured by the user for different filters and beam splitters. Standard 25 mm diameter filters and polarizers can be used.

The Photometrics DVΛ is a dual-channel simultaneous-imaging system that allows a user to acquire two spatially identical but spectrally distinct images simultaneously.

The DVΛ can accommodate image sensors up to a 22 mm diagonal, while the DV2 cannot.

The DVΛ is 320 mm long, 110 mm wide, and 79 mm tall. It weighs 1.5 kg.
