Description
The Pure Photonics Integrated Coherent Receiver (micro-ICR) is a cutting-edge optical receiver module designed for high-speed coherent communication systems. Utilizing a local oscillator (LO) and four balanced photodetectors with precise phase and polarization control, this compact micro-ICR captures complete phase and polarization information of incoming optical signals. This enables efficient demodulation of advanced modulation formats like DP-QPSK and high-order QAM, supporting data rates up to 400 Gbps.
The micro-ICR complies with the OIF MSA form-factor standard, ensuring seamless integration into dense telecom and datacenter environments. With proven field reliability in networks worldwide, the Pure Photonics micro-ICR offers excellent performance and long-term stability. Supporting both C-band and L-band versions with a typical 40 GHz bandwidth, the receiver handles input powers from -18 dBm to 0 dBm, and operates across a wide temperature range (-5°C to +85°C). Features include analog output amplitude control (manual and automated) and amplifier shutdown capability, making it a versatile and robust solution for coherent detection applications.
