The CT-2 uses Minus K's patented breakthrough technology to provide vibration isolation without any air or electricity. It offers our signature 0.5 Hz vertical natural frequency and ~1.5 Hz horizontal natural frequency.

The CT-2 is ideal for all types of benchtop microscopes, microscopy (SPM, SEM, AFM, etc.), micro-hardness testing/nano indentation, laser/optical systems, spacecraft ground testing, biology/neuroscience, microelectronics/MEMS fabrication, cryostats, analytical balances, audio reproduction, vacuum isolation, large-displacement systems, heavy systems, and custom systems.

The CT-2 is a completely passive mechanical isolator that offers 10-100 times better performance than a full-size air table. It is an upgrade from Minus K's CT-1 and offers better horizontal performance with additional payload ranges for heavier instruments.

The horizontal frequency of ~1.5 Hz is achieved at or near the upper limits of the payload range. At the lower payload weights, the horizontal frequency will increase. Horizontal frequencies are weight dependent.

The CT-2 weighs approximately 30 lbs (16 kg) and has different models with varying payload ranges: 30CT-2 (18 – 31 lb.), 60CT-2 (42 – 70 lb.), 100CT-2 (68 – 104 lb.), 150CT-2 (112 – 158 lb.), 200CT-2 (155 – 210 lb.), and 250CT-2 (205 – 252 lb.).
