Description
Concave diffraction gratings are diffractive optics components for compact spectrometers. By combining dispersive and imaging properties in a single element concave gratings reduce stray light, increase light intensity, and are ideal for imaging the spectrum on a diode array or a CCD/CMOS sensor. The basic form of all imaging gratings is the Rowland circle grating.
ZEISS concave gratings are produced holographically. This optimizes the focal plane and minimizes aberrations such as astigmatism, spherical aberration and coma over a wide spectral range with a range of groove profiles.
