Features

  • Non-Polarizing Design: These plate beamsplitters divide an incident, monochromatic beam into reflected and transmitted components while maintaining the polarization characteristics of the incident beam.

  • High-Quality Coatings: The plate is coated with an all-dielectric, non-polarizing partial reflection coating on one side and a high-efficiency, narrowband anti-reflection coating on the reverse side.

  • Material Options: Available in BK7, UVFS, and ZnSe materials to suit different application needs.

  • Precision Angle of Incidence: Designed for a 45º angle of incidence to ensure optimal performance.

  • Minimal Wedge: Wedge ≤ 3 arc minutes to ensure beam alignment accuracy.

  • Bevels: 0.010" – 0.030" at 45º for safety and handling ease.

  • Large Clear Aperture: Central 85% of the diameter is clear, ensuring maximum usable area.

  • Adjustable Reflectance: Reflectance can be customized between 10% and 90% ± 3%.

  • Anti-Reflection Coating: Unpolarized with R ≤ 0.5% at 45º to minimize losses.

Applications

  • Laser Systems: Used in laser systems where it is essential to maintain the polarization characteristics of the incident beam.

  • Optical Instrumentation: Ideal for applications in optical instrumentation requiring precise beam splitting without altering polarization.

  • Telecommunications: Utilized in fiber optics and telecommunications systems for splitting signals while preserving polarization integrity.

  • Scientific Research: Employed in laboratories for experiments that require accurate beam division with maintained polarization.

  • Medical Equipment: Used in medical imaging and laser equipment where polarization consistency is crucial.

  • Industrial Applications: Suitable for industrial laser applications where non-polarizing beam splitting is necessary.

  • Photography and Imaging: Applied in high-end photography and imaging devices for precise light control.
