Frequently Asked Questions

The pulseSelect Dual HP-Ti:Sa is a single pulse selector using two acousto-optical Bragg cells designed for femtosecond or picosecond laser technology.

The pulseSelect Dual comes in two variants: pulseSelect Dual (serial) and pulseSelect Dual parallel.

pulseSelect Dual (serial) is designed to allow for the highest contrast ratio of above 6000:1 by placing two Bragg cells, both synchronized to common clock, in serial configuration. pulseSelect Dual parallel is designed for selecting pulses from two synchronized laser sources, e.g. with different wavelength, simultaneously by placing two Bragg cells, both synchronized to one common clock with one common division ratio but independent delay settings, in parallel configuration.

The maximum laser input power for the pulseSelect Dual HP-Ti:Sa is < 5 W (SiO2)1 or < 0.5 W (TeO2)1.

The division ratio for the pulseSelect Dual can go down to fREP/2 (optional).
