Our goal in designing the software was to provide a tool for modeling optical components and optical layouts in the same environment where your design or drawing takes place. RayCAD is not like any other optical design software. The open architecture of AutoCAD and Inventor allows an operator the freedom to model many optical designs that weren't thought of by the developer of RayCAD. In short, just as in AutoCAD and Inventor, the tool that RayCAD provides allows your imagination to run free.
