Optical Interrogators
Did You Know?
Fiber optic interrogators, also known as optical sensing interrogators, are fiber optic based devices allowing for high accuracy absolute measurements of strain, temperature, displacement, pressure, etc. An optical interrogator can be composed of various types of sensors that are able to acquire data simultaneously and at different sampling rates. These devices are often used in determining the integrity of structures likes bridges, dams, and mines or inspecting oil pipeline conditions. Optic interrogators also find applications in aerospace testing and manufacturing, industrial measurements, and medical devices.
