Description
Cincinnati Automation(CA) developed a standard inspection product for inspecting different types of seals. The pictured machine is one of roughly a dozen configurations and includes the same standard components of every seal and o-ring inspection machine CA builds: feeder bowl, double loop conveyor, pneumatic blow offs, laser measuring devices, and vision integration. For this particular version, CA is inspecting relatively flat seal for coloration, thickness, flashing, voids, and shape. The failures, detected by different vision inspections and laser measurements, are sorted into different collection bins and the passing products are sent off the end of the inspection unit into a collection basin. It is capable of running at a rate above 100ppm depending on the size of the part.
