Description
The EAM laser drilling system for osmotic drugs is designed to precisely position the tablets to laser drill single or multiple orifices on the surface of a round tablet or a single orifice on the end of an oblong tablet at speeds up to 160k per hour.
The machine is supplied with either one laser for single layer or oblong tablets or a dual laser system for bi-layer tablets. Single layer or oblong tablets can also be drilled on the dual laser system. An orifice will be drilled on either side of a single layer tablet or on the active side of a bi-layer tablet.
The system includes a laser PC to set up laser drilling requirements. The laser setup PC provides tools to position the drill location of each orifice on the tablet, orifice size and the number of orifices.
