Frequently Asked Questions

The LabRAM Odyssey Raman microscope is used for Raman microscopy, photoluminescence, Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) and other hybrid methods.

The LabRAM Odyssey Raman microscope has ultra-fast Raman imaging with SWIFTTM and DuoScanTM technologies, diffraction-limited spatial resolution, unequalled spectral resolution with a high-efficiency long focal length spectrometer, wide spectral range capability due to a unique achromatic design, and compatibility with multiple lasers and detectors.

The LabRAM Odyssey Raman microscope is suited for both micro and macro measurements, and offers advanced confocal imaging capabilities in 2D and 3D. It is widely used for standard Raman analysis, PhotoLuminescence (PL), Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS) and other hybrid methods.

The LabRAM Odyssey Raman microscope achieves a fully achromatic spectrometer spectral range from 200 nm to 2200 nm, which allows for the availability of excitation lasers from deep UV to near IR to measure both photoluminescence and Raman signals in the same spectrum.

The LabRAM Odyssey Raman microscope uses the LabSpec 6 software, which has an intuitive interface and a large dedicated application range in the LabSpec 6 app store. It also offers a high level of automation, such as a laser switch, an automated objective turret, or an automated spatial calibration with its VRM patented function.
