The MegaStrip 9650 has a modular design that allows future upgrades, extensive libraries with predefined cable types, processes and operations to simplify the machine programming, a SmartBlade™ system with cartridges and libraries for quick changeover of complete blade sets, a highly precise rotary incision unit with automatic centering system for precise shield cutting, and automatic lock/unlock of guide sets for safety operation.

The MegaStrip 9650 has two powerful machine versions with additional processing options for a wide range of large cable applications, Schleuniger’s patented multiple blade position cutter head for multi-step operations, and up to two independent inkjet printers positioned downstream of the cutting head in order to eliminate cable waste.

The MegaStrip 9650 has a maximum raw material diameter of 35 mm (1.38"), a standard conductor cross-section of 120 mm2 (4/0 AWG), and a standard workpiece length of 150 – 999’999 mm (5.90 - 39,370“). It has a feeding speed of 3 m/sec (9.84 ft/s) and interfaces including Ethernet, USB, RS 232, pre-/postprocessing interface, hotstamp, 2 x inkjet, foot pedal, ESC 1000.

The MegaStrip 9650 is an automatic cut and strip machine for processing single core wires, multi-conductor cables and shielded cables up to 35 mm (1.38') in outer diameter.

The MegaStrip 9650 has a weight of 435 kg (959.01 lbs.) for the M version and 463 kg (1020.74 lbs.) for the MR version.
