Tailored Micro Diffusers (TMD) are holographically recorded surface relief microstructures which can demonstrate higher brightness and better uniformity than conventional glass bead diffusers. WaveFront Technology, Inc. (WFT) manufactures these TMD’s in a roll to roll process, in a variety of base materials while obtaining a wide range of angular outputs both circular and elliptical.
