The 1650 Series Laser System Controller (LSC) is a device that expands the capabilities of the model 1550 Laser Diode Driver Controller. It allows easy control of current levels, pulse modes, and interlock controls, as well as monitoring voltage and current levels from the driver.

The features of the 1650 Series Laser System Controller include q-switch triggering, external triggering, sync output, and additional I/O signals. It also has 12-bit resolution on current setting, 5 setup storage locations, and single shot, continuous, burst, and CW modes.

The power input for the 1650 Series Laser System Controller is +15-24 VDC, 200 ma. from either an external wall type or powered from the driver.

The user interface for the 1650 Series Laser System Controller includes an 8 button keypad and a rotary encoder. The readout display is a 16X4 LCD backlit display with 3 LED status indicators.

The 1650 Series Laser System Controller is compatible with standard diode drivers with digital and analog control interfaces. Future options include board level for OEM integration and Ethernet communications.
