Open Laser Welding Machine – Tower OLA-T
Description
The OLA-T model was designed for processing very large workpieces. The tower design with cantilevered Y-axis offers a flexible workspace, providing the best possible accessibility for large, complex workpieces. Large traverse paths in X/Y/Z as well as optional tilting and swiveling laser optics with stereo microscope and coaxial crosshair camera ensure the feasibility of the welding task.
In addition, the system can be equipped with modules such as a height-adjustable machine table, an integrated C-axis and a rotary/swivel unit, etc. to suit the specific application. All machine and laser functions can be operated innovatively via the control panel.
The WPT control system is designed for maximum user-friendliness and is constantly being further developed. The various operating modes; manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic; enable flexible use of the system, independent of batch size and machine operator. The innovative joystick with teach functions completes the operating concept of the OLA machines.
