FindLight Co-Founders to Speak at UC Irvine on Careers Beyond the PhD

On February 4, the co-founders of FindLight will give a talk at the University of California, Irvine, hosted by the OPTICA/SPIE Student Chapter. Titled “Life After the PhD: From Research to a Global Photonics Marketplace,” the talk will explore career paths beyond academia and share real-world insights on translating scientific research into a global technology platform.

The event is open to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and staff, and will feature an open discussion on entrepreneurship, industry transitions, and opportunities in the photonics ecosystem.
