As part of ISO9001:2015 certified Quality Vision International (QVI), VIEW combines the expertise of VIEW Engineering and Micro-Metric, each with over 30 years of proven performance in high precision video measurement systems.

VIEW Engineering pioneered the world's first video coordinate measuring machine, the VIEW RB1, in 1976. This legacy of innovation in optics, lighting, and imaging software continues. Micro-Metric, founded in 1979, specializes in precise optical metrology systems for applications including wafer, slider, flat-panel display, and electronic assembly.

In 2005, the merger of VIEW Engineering and Micro-Metric formed VIEW Micro-Metrology under Quality Vision International, the world's largest vision metrology company. This synergy empowers technology leaders in micro-manufacturing, data storage, semiconductors, solar cells, and MEMs with critical manufacturing process control.
